Support services include prenatal visits, birth planning and preparation, labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and breastfeeding support.

1

Prenatal Visits

Prenatal visits with a doula can help parents feel more informed, supported, and confident as they approach childbirth, and can contribute to a more positive and empowering birth experience.

2

BIRTH PLANNING & PREP

This service can help parents feel more informed, confident, and empowered as they approach their due date, and can help ensure that their birth experience aligns with their goals and values leading to better birth outcomes and a more positive childbirth experience.

3

Labor & Delivery Support

The goal of labor and delivery support is to help women feel empowered, informed, and supported through breathing and relaxation exercises, massage, positioning and movement, and advocacy for the woman’s birth preferences.

4

Postpartum Care

Support includes infant care, breastfeeding support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and emotional support. Postpartum doula care can help ease the transition to parenthood, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote maternal and family wellbeing.

Breastfeeding Support

Breastfeeding support aims to provide expert advice, education, and practical tips to help mothers overcome breastfeeding challenges and establish a successful breastfeeding relationship with their babies.

6

BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY

Birth is such an amazing time, but usually also very busy and involved- being able to look back at these beautiful moments once the waves calm can be the utmost fulfilling and for some, empowering. I always offer to take photos for all of my Labor & Delivery Support clients, But I also offer this service on its own.

“She was different than a nurse.”

My Doula wasn’t there just for my physical wellbeing in the way that a nurse was. I had a great nurse! but her job was not to do all of the above. My nurse wasn’t there to talk about how I was feeling, to try to put my nerves to rest, or tell me how “great” I was doing, even when I didn’t feel like it. However, these were things I desperately needed and why I believe I had a successful VBAC. My doula filled in the gaps that my nurses just couldn’t fill.
